With over 30 years of professional experience, he leads Larquit Arquitectura. With a distinguished track record in the design of highly energy-efficient and energy-efficient buildings, Ricardo has made his mark on large-scale projects. His experience includes the design and construction management of a variety of projects, from passive houses with CLT structures to renovations of listed buildings. His work is based on a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and excellence in architectural design, as an expert in energy simulation and standards such as Passivhaus and LEED.

How did the business start?

We began as a group of architects working on collective housing projects over 30 years ago. The projects have continued, with a special dedication to individual clients and their needs.

What agents are involved in the process?

Project drafting and construction management are our areas of expertise. According to the Building Regulations Act, the parties involved in the project are: the owner or developer, the technical manager (architect), and the construction company. Due to our extensive experience, we are able to advise or recommend qualified companies in the construction industry.

How many jobs do you do a year?

Between 8 and 12 projects of all kinds.

What materials and systems do you like to work with?

In our experience, we've found that buildings with CLT (cross-laminated timber) structures allow for great versatility and flexibility in design, which, combined with improved energy performance, is why we opted for this solution.

Knowledge of the program, client needs, and the opportunity to visit the plot or premises covered by the quote.

Our customer service once the project is completed and, of course, the ten-year warranty that covers our work and our activities.
